ADMINISTRATION

The Administrative Core provides the support services and organizational structure necessary for planning, conducting, and evaluating the Center's researBooth at AASLD  Meetingch activities. This role includes promoting effective scientific interactions among Center investigators and ensuring that the Center maintains state-of-the art facilities, complies with IRB and IACUC approvals, and maintains innovative science, multidisciplinary involvement, and synergy among Center components.

An Internal Advisory Board is the principal advisory body and works together with the Director to prioritize research activities and to monitor scientific progress. An External Advisory Board, composed of highly regarded experts in virology, immunology, drug addiction, genomics, proteomics, and bioinformatics, advises the Center, reviews scientific progress, and ensures that the Center remains thematically focused.
